100 days?Are you kidding me?

100 days of something..The thought ..the idea gives me a shudder...
I can't do anything for one week..forget 100 days... 3 bloody months plus many many more days???
Noooooooooooo
I am going to try..without telling anyone(Do you know how many people would fall off their chairs laughing at this?)
So what can I possibly do for 100 days?
Skin care routine?
Reading?
Walking(Straight away rejected)
Singing
Praying
Meditation(What???)
Damn I don't know.
But I must...I definitely must..I can lose to the world..But I can't lose to myself .....That would be the end of me...
Well I am trying to be practical with this..
This has to be something simple..Something life changing..Something that will impact my life positively..something that doesn't involve too much of effort(lazy bitch!)
What can it be?
Watering plants?
Colouring?
making the bed first thing in the morning?
Not biting nails?(Thats interesting..though half of me  has already pushed it away)
no swear words?(ha ha ha ...abandon idea right away)
I don't know but I am going to decide...today...
Empty blank space to where this blog is going....Any ideas???
To that someone who is not even there...will you help me???

Day 34-Why Education?

I come from a country that has proven , time and again that in order to be successful, education may not be necessary. I have seen way too many men who haven't been educated but have made shit loads of money. So why be educated? Is education a tool to having a career/making money/securing a successful partner/making a name in the society? If that is so, why not teach children in schools ONLY about Physics and Maths and Chemistry and may be a bit of money management? Why do we teach Art and craft? Why do we want children to participate in the million activities-drama, dance, music, elocution and all of that importance we lay on extra curricular activities? Why help children acquire good handwriting? Why show them to appreciate music and art? Day 17-Mediocrity-is the name of the game

Of the many lessons that I have learnt after a few years of working in the corporate world and a few others in education, I have come to realise something about this nation that disturbs me.
