Day 38- Blessed is the Peter Keating

There are some very complex situations and scenarios that are extremely difficult to be precisely captured in words , without losing out on the complexity.
One of the greatest poets of all times did just that in his song
Many a times I have wondered about what exactly he must have gone through to have been able to describe it so very precisely-like hitting the nail on the head

"நல்லதோர் வீணைசெய்தே
அதை நலங்கெடப் புழுதியில் எறிவதுண்டோ?"

We have all seen many many people being subjected to this most unjust disgrace haven't we?I have been studying the popularity of people especially on social media. In a platform which encourages amateur singers, what kind of people have the maximum followers? The fair and the beautiful and the one who can easily affect and influence people. Is it based on talent? Most certainly not!
I have seen some extremely mediocre posts on Facebook-of that expressing a certain talent, which is so very mediocre by normal standards even. How many likes and follows does that person get? A number that certainly doesn't justify the absoluteness of "good quality".

I have realised that some people quite loudly and confidently say the wrong things. These people are not only spared..they are also followed and celebrated. Try correcting them. It is very similar to wrestling with a swine...while you are covered with shit at the end of the act, you realise that the pig actually enjoys it very much.

How does the Howard Roark survive the multitudes of Peter Keatings around him?

Are you a Howard Roark yourself? I completely empathise with your struggle, your frustration, your helplessness, your relentless effort for excellence that always goes unappreciated.

The truth is that, the world is infact covered with these Peter Keatings. If you were born as one, you are much better off than the cursed Howard Roark.
