Day 78-The Airport is my Bodhi tree

I love airports. Initially it was the glam and the charm and the sparkle that excited me. But with more travel, the experiences in the airport have taught me a lot of things .
What are your most favourite aspects of the airport? Mine are as below
1. Washrooms-someone to constantly clean..to take care of your needs. The absolutely clean washrooms in (most) airports are such happy places
2. Food- Something about the airport food despite it being so ridiculously expensive...it is just so appetising...the practical yet absolute clean way in which piping hot food is presented is definitely a luxury I enjoy
3. People-there is no better pastime than watching the so many different people around you-invariably someone will try to push you to get into the queue, all of us have experienced the many nudged with the trolley by the blessed person standing behind us in the queue, someone losing their way, someone crying, someone always anxious..oh so many different people
4. Airports teach you that its ok to make mistakes...I usually see people ending up in the wrong gate, forgetting to put their mobile phones in their bags for security scan, never standing in queue and what happens to them? Someone very calmly, very sweetly tells them what to do. Wow..how many places in the world are this forgiving?
5. It is a place of high energy-always buzzing with people..activity..people from different timezones..but always alert and live!
6. It is a place where friendships can happen easily..need I say anything more? Anything can happen over a coffee...or a beer...or even while waiting for the check in

More than anything airports teach you a great lesson of life..that we are after all just travellers..today in one place..tomorrow in another..Nothing lasts forever
